Road rage is now a part of every day driving. It’s when drivers get angry about something and take it out on others by driving badly, shouting abuse or physically attacking you.

Watch this video showing an incident I was involved in. I was driving at 20mph in a 20mph zone and the driver behind me got so mad that he got out and hit me in the face.

As a driving instructor I’m never far away from road rage. I get angry drivers behind me all the time. It’s often for no reason other than they want to speed but can’t because my car is being driven properly.

Here are some of my top hints to avoid road rage and what to do if someone attacks you as they did me.
