Please read the following contract carefully. You will be bound by it once you accept the terms and conditions during the ROAD payment process.

ROAD Contract
This contract is made between Paul Dodd (referred to from now on as “I”), residing at 42a Rea Valley Drive, Northfield, Birmingham, B31 3XE, United Kingdom, and you (referred to from now on as “You”). These two parties together will be collectively referred to as “The Parties”. ROAD refers to the online course you are buying. This contract is written under UK law, which will apply wherever you are located. Full details of how your data will be used and stored can be found at https://www.1stdrive.com/privacy-policy/
1. Services
The agreed price of this service is £500 (GBP).
This service gives you lifetime access to the ROAD course.
Lifetime access refers to the life of the course, not your life. The ROAD course in its entirety, and/or your lifetime access, may be withdrawn at any time by me giving 30 days’ notice, which will be posted on https://www.1stdrive.com/ROAD/.
Your ROAD membership will be cancelled if you do not log in for 60 consecutive days.
The ROAD course is designed to help you overcome driving anxiety. If you choose to use it for any other purpose, such as overcoming a fear of anything else, you do so at your own risk and understand it was not designed for that purpose.
The course is written in English, and the videos are recorded in English.
This course is taken online and does not include any in-person work, Zoom calls, phone calls, or one-to-one sessions with me of any kind.
The videos in ROAD are only viewable inside your ROAD account through my website https://www.1stdrive.com/. You will need an internet connection to be able to watch them.
You must not share, download, save, or in any way distribute any videos contained in the ROAD course, specifically any contained on pages linked to from the directory https://www.1stdrive.com/ROAD/. If you are found doing so, your membership will be terminated immediately, with no refund, and legal action may be taken against you.
You can log in on up to two devices at the same time (such as a phone and a computer), or on the same device with two different browsers. If you log in using a third device/browser, you will be logged out of the device/browser you logged in to first.
You must not share your username or password. If the system detects many logins from the same account at many different locations, you risk having your account terminated without refund.
This service will not teach you how to drive, and no driving lessons are included. It’s your responsibility to ensure you have learned to drive safely and follow all the necessary laws, rules and regulations wherever you are located.
You must make sure you are happy with the quality of my free videos before joining. The ones in my course are of similar quality.
This service may not work as well if you regularly drink excessive amounts of alcohol (more than 14 units as measured in the UK per week), or you use any drugs that are not medically prescribed (such as Cannabis or Heroin). If your driving anxiety began at a time you were drinking excessive amounts or taking drugs, this service may not work as well. No refund given if you tell me of any of these issues after paying for the ROAD course.
I will not help you achieve anything that would break any laws or rules, such as exceeding the speed limit.
If you pay in instalments through PayPal, you will be entering a credit agreement with PayPal. Please ensure this is right for you and read PayPal’s terms and conditions on their website before continuing.
You must take care when making a payment. If you have a session with me and then say you paid using the wrong card, account, or that you wanted to pay in instalments but paid in full, you must pay again using the correct card, account or payment method before I refund your original payment. You will lose approximately 5% of the original payment due to processing fees.
Anything you tell me in communications will be kept strictly confidential. The only exception to this is if you disclose that you have taken part in a crime or are threatening to harm yourself or others. In these instances, I have to report such things to the relevant authorities.
You created your problem; therefore, you also have the solution to it. The ROAD course is designed to help guide you to that solution, but it can’t find it for you, tell you what it is or do anything other than help you find the solution yourself. If you are expecting ROAD to do all the work and fix the problem for you with no effort on your part, then do not proceed with this therapy because that is not how it works.
A contact email is provided inside the ROAD membership area. This is only for me to offer help and support when possible, and is not to be used as a way of talking to me live, as in a one-to-one session, or for live help while you are listening to any of the ROAD content. If you abuse this by sending multiple emails per day or by sending any threatening or abusive emails, I will not reply, and your ROAD membership may be cancelled immediately with no refund. I aim to reply within 24 hours, but it may take longer, especially during weekends and public holidays. Email support is included for the first 60 consecutive days of your membership. I will often continue to reply after those 60 days, at my discretion.
I will only communicate with you via email. No Zoom calls, phone calls, online chats, messaging through apps, or any other form of contact is included.
I thoroughly recommend adding mail@1stdrive.com to your email provider’s safe sender list, also known as a whitelist or safelist. This will make sure all of my emails get to you. If you don’t do this, please check your junk/spam folder because my emails sometimes end up there.
2. Guarantees
There are no guarantees. You may pay for this service and not get the results you want.
3. Driving after using ROAD
Therapy can be extremely emotional for some people, and only you can decide when you feel ready to drive afterwards. Whenever possible, it’s good to listen to the videos shortly before sleeping to give you time to sleep and process what came up. Ultimately, only you can decide when you feel safe to drive.
If you are unable to drive due to not having access to a vehicle or any other reason (except driving anxiety), you must consider whether this is the right time for you to use this service.
I accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to yourself, others, or any property as a result of your driving after a session. You must take all possible measures to ensure your safety and that of others, especially in situations where you have previously experienced problems when driving.
4. Health declaration and safety measures
By agreeing to this contract, you confirm that you do not currently have (and have never had) any mental health issues, including, but not limited to, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. If you have (or have ever had) epilepsy or asthma, you must check with a medical professional first. Much of the work I do uses hypnosis, which can make any of these conditions worse or bring on an attack.
I am not medically qualified in any way and cannot diagnose medical conditions. You must exhaust all medical options before taking therapy to ensure the issue is not caused by something I can’t help with. Nothing I say must be taken as medical advice or instruction, and I can’t advise on whether hypnotherapy is suitable for you based on any medication you are taking.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are medically fit to use hypnotherapy. If you are unsure about your suitability for hypnotherapy due to any medical issue, you must check this with a doctor before signing this contract.
You may want to close your eyes for extended periods of time during a session. If you wear contact lenses or anything else that could be affected by this, then be sure to remove them before a session begins.
You must make sure you are in a safe location for sessions. I recommend a sturdy chair or bed, and you should always be in a situation and location where it would be safe to fall asleep.
Taking other forms of therapy at the same time as using ROAD may reduce its effectiveness.
5. Cooling-off period and refunds
You waive your right to cancel within 14 days to get immediate access to the digital content of ROAD.
No refunds are given for any reason, as you will have immediate access to the whole ROAD course.
6. Confirmation
By continuing to purchase the ROAD course, you are stating that you have read, understood and agree to all of the above terms and conditions.
